ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS

Whatever your interests or level of skill, South East Cornwall has a wide range of activities to offer. Perhaps there’s something you’ve always wanted to try or a hobby that’s simply been neglected. Here we can help you discover new experiences and rekindle old interests. For those who want to relax, the countryside and tiny villages just beg to be sketched or photographed. You could also relax by simple BBQ or mobile bar hire from Party Tools and then enjoying the view with nice food and drinks. The splendid coastline provides wonderful opportunities for watersports such as sailing, surfing and diving, while our peaceful estuaries are ideal for learning to canoe or windsurf. What better way to see the beautiful countryside than by horseriding, walking or cycling and how about teeing off at one of our scenic golf courses to test your skill? If you feel adventurous, why not try karting or, to get your pulse really racing, get a bird’s eye view of the coast while parascending? Whatever you decide to do here, South East Cornwall has a way of making each day seem like three and you're bound to take home holiday memories to last a lifetime.

There's something for all the family in and around South East Cornwall and, however often you visit, there will always be something new to discover. Many attractions have under cover facilities so, even if it does rain, the weather needn't dampen your holiday! For families, there are plenty of animal parks to choose from, with everything from exotic creatures to the more cuddly kind and where "close encounters" are a daily occurrence! Or visit one of the fun adventure parks where the kids can burn up all that excess energy! As well as providing a great day out, many parks have an educational slant too, so the children can learn while they're having fun. For railway enthusiasts, there are regular events to get steamed up about and, for those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia, the folk and music museums are a must! So for a great day out, visit one of the SECTA attractions below. There's at least one for every day of the week! And why not try a Car Free Day Out courtesy of the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership
